Alora's HP is f**king awful, biggest turn-off about her for me.
I agree, but I can't help feeling it's because we as gamers are spoiled with power. Many (well, me at least) reload mutliple times to get perfect, or near-perfect, HP-rolls instead of just seeing bad rolls as the game taunting us and telling us we don't dare to face it without a perfectly shaped charname and party.
That said, giving the joining NPCs an average HP score of 75-80% of the maximum HP *would* mean I'ld take on a lot more end-game NPCs.
