Take your time

I for one, just want to say, take your time with releasing Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. I'd rather wait and get a quality product than have headaches in the beginning. I'm in NO hurry.. and am not complaining about a mere $17.99 purchase for an enhanced version of a game that's 14 years old.
OMG, in checking the release date of BG on wikipedia, it was released Nov 30th (of 1998). Surely, I'm not the first to realize this is the same as this newly announced release date for the EE version..

Well, okay, it's a game that I dearly love.
But from a professional standpoint I'm going to be honest that I think "they" (Beamdog plus other partners) have really fallen short here with such an 11th hour postponement.
Here's hoping that the game itself kicks ass. I have faith that it will.
But Beamdog needs to do a better job with communication with fans. My guess is that they're being tied up by the other partners in this deal. And if that's the case, then those partners actually should know that it's ironically hurting the project. They should consider giving Beamdog greater autonomy to communicate with the fanbase/consumers.
