BG:EE crashing when I try to run it after patch

I just updated to the latest patch(JAN 2013) and now when I try to open up BG:EE it crashes back to the desktop.

I'm using OSX 10.8.5

Everything worked perfect before I updated. BG 2 is working fine.

    Deleted and re-installing. Will report back.

    Update: SOLVED

    Deleted the app using appzapper and manually deleted the save folder in Documents, I'm sure just dragging the BG:EE folder in applications to Trash would work the same as appzapper.

    Then downloaded the iso from Beamdog.com.

    Ran it and downloaded the game again.

    Everything seems to be working fine. I was part of the beta for one of the big patches so that must have caused an issue when I downloaded the next patch.
