thief auto trap detection

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
so, i installed the beta, got my assassin and all but he wont stop auto detecting traps... i press to stop auto detect but he still insists on doing it .... i can't become invisible or that, so my thief is kinda useless.
is this a bug ? is there an option to disable auto detect? it's probably the most annoying thing in this beta :S

    Probably disable AI or choose another AI script.

    It's a bug, yes. We should have it squashed before release.

    ty for reply :) could you post when you squash it? playing thief with that bug really destroys my enjoyment of the class :(
