Fun Character Classes to play from BG:EE-TOB in a No Re-load challenge?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Looking to do a character run from BG:EE-BG2:EE TOB on No Reload that imparts a unique player experience. Usually play Ranger, Sorc, Fighter/Mage, or F/T but looking for something new yet viable to get through the hurdle of enemies both games have to other unscathed. Willing to play any of the above classes if need be but really looking for something different. Any suggestions?

    Solo or with party? Skalds are very good at parties, and blades are capable soloers.

    Wild mage is to me, the most fun character ever, but definitely a big no no for no reload play. Or if you want to live on the edge, why not?

    Or go experimental like wizard slayer dualled to thief or kensai dualled to druid. Always fun to try different builds, however you may risk dying in no reload. Oh you don't have scs installed, right? Then a no reload is a lot easier. If you are wanting a challenge you may try scs mod and play minimal reload, only load if pc is dead.
