18-19 Dex and Armor class -- EE vs Vanilla

In vanilla, I would always roll 18 dex (or 19 with an elf) and get an additional ac bonus with the dex tome. However, in EE 1.3, you have the same ac with 19 dex as with 18. It was an unfortunate discovery for me. I don't know if this topic has been beaten to death previously, but I think it is an important issue. Is this "fixed" in 2.0? I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

    19 Dexterity never gave an additional bonus to Armor Class compared to 18. Both scores give a -4 bonus to AC, like 20 Dexterity. It's been that way forever AFAIK.

    You might be thinking of the extra -1 missile weapons THAC0 adjustment when going from 18 to 19 DEX.
