Importing previous bgee character

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Hi everyone, now that the release of Sod is close i would like to be sure about one thing:
it will make even a little difference to import a previous bgee character (with the 1.3 patch) rather than making a brand new character with SoD installed? It was a ftm with great rolls and i would like to start over again with him :D

    It will only make a difference if you wanted to use the Shaman class or the Priest of Tyr kit. Otherwise, have at it!
