Scripts: HasItemEquipedReal doesn't work with ranged launcher weapons

In scripts, HasItemEquipedReal checks don't work for ranged launcher weapons (bows, crossbows, and slings), unlike in BG2EE where equipPed and used launchers are correctly recognized.
I haven't seen that issue in the 2.0 patch notes, so maybe got fixed by the way. Let's see later.
