Semi-Open Beta

As you all know, BG:EE has been delayed until November 30th. Trent Oster's latest twitter post seemed to imply that a plethora of bugs was the cause of the delay, and I accept that it takes time to fix it.
Since the game has been delayed by at least two months, with only four days warning before the original release, I request that those of us who have pre-ordered be allowed access to a semi-open beta.
Giving the pre-orders a beta access is going to help cool a lot of the hostility that is currently heating up on the forums, and if you only let pre-orders take part the problem of piracy is going to be lessened. And since it is a beta, bugs are bound to be part of the experience and (hopefully) no one will be complaining about it, and we might even help you by reporting some you haven't come across yet.
So how about it Overhaul? How about beta access to the pre-orders to take the edge off the pain of having BG:EE ripped away at the last moment?

And honestly i would rather wait for the finished produkt.
Gorion with purple skin? Exploding Imoen? Ring of Wizardry causes dysentery?
Let us squash some bugs first. It'll be well worth the wait.
