Good 2H swords in Ch.2

So, I'm in the middle of going through the Dragon Eye right now and while some members of my party are rocking the Black Bess and some +2 longswords I found lying around, my poor Berserker is still stuck with the Kresselak's Sword. I tried to look up weapon loot lists for the area, but from what it looks like, there will not be any good 2H weapons available for me anytime soon (other than the +3 one that is sold in Kuldahar, but that costs too much). And from what I understand, I'll need at least a +2 weapon for the upcoming boss. Does anyone know if there is somewhere I can find an upgrade for my two handed sword at this point in the game?

Don't think so, can't you put the next pip in another weapon (e.g. longsword) so you can use what you're carrying, or what turns up?

There's a good chance of getting a decent +2 2H sword in the first level of the Severed Hand. Oh and a small chance of getting another +1 type sword with some monster-specific bonuses on the bottom level of Dragon's eye, but it isn't much better than Kresselack's sword, and you'd have trouble fighting certain bosses with either.

Oh man, that's pretty lame. Just looking at the item lists, it seems the game is seriously biased towards one handed weapons. Almost thinking of shelving this character for a while and starting over with a dual wielding build.

You really don't have to do that - decent 2H weapons turn up, just a bit later than expected perhaps :)

Two handed weapons are terrible in IWDee while there is a wealth of amazing single handed weapons. Enough in fact for 5 characters to comfortably dual wield with amazingly good weapons.

    Example:
    Shocking flail +4 / Fast Flail +2
    Fire Flail +3 / Fast Flail +2
    Ice Scimitar +4 / Valiant +2
    Minotaur Axe +4 / Incinerator +3
Longsword of Action +4 / Longsword of Action +4

This fits a party with 2 clerics, a Druid, a battle Mage, a dual wielding rogue and a bard perfectly which is about as strong a party as you can get.
