Need to provide address & phone # just to pre-order??

I just tried to pre-order the game through Beamdog's site, but I keep getting a message that says that I need to provide a bunch of personal info, including my address & phone #, in order to order.

I've purchased all the other EE games through Beamdog so far without having to provide all this info. I'm only trying to buy the standard edition SoD and pay using my Paypal account - is it really necessary to provide all that info?

    It's probably to confirm the payment information. Yes, I realize many other retailers don't require this information if one uses PayPal as a payment option.
