Druid permanently can't equip weapons after using Shillelagh

I can't believe this bug is still here. It was a known bug years ago. After using Shillelagh, if a save is made before the spell expires, the druid is permanently bugged to be unable to equip weapons. This will stop my game if I can't fix it.

I wonder if the same bug is present with Melf's Minute Meteors and other magically equipped weapons? This is really bad.
