New Tooltips

Is there an option to restore the "scroll" tooltips somewhere? I super enjoy the little scrolls rolling open to reveal enemy name and HP status, and the new blue boxes look and sound lifeless.

Was there a reason for this change?

    It was changed because the graphic couldn't easily be enlarged dynamically to accommodate font size changes. There's been various suggestions of how to get it back to something similar to how it was while retaining dynamic size adjustments, hopefully something will come of it either in v2.00 or in a future patch.
