Question about Monk's Proficiency
I've just made a Dark Moon Monk and gave him a point in Ninjato
My fists a 1d6, but the ninjato is 1d8 so arguably better, Thac0 for both is 20
Now, my question is this, on the Combat Stats screen under my fists is "proficiency +2" which vanishes if I equip the ninjato or cast Frozen Fist upon myself. What is this proficiency as it does not seem to affect my thac0?

It might be a slight bug. If I swap weapons, the proficiency +2 line vanishes and will only reappear if I return to the game and then re-enter this screen.
