mother egenia won't resurrect?

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
hi! i was wondering if anyone knows how to resurrect a character in IWD? my players are level 6-ish and my mage died in the troll caves... i spoke with mother egenia but the raise dead option is unavailable. i can't retrieve the dead player's body, and i tried going back to Kuldahar, but there is no temple there and no one sells any resurrection scrolls. any advice? thanks in advance!

    oh, and it's on a tablet, so i can't use cheat codes, and starting over at the previous save isn't an option since it took me like 30 tries to beat the 15 trolls at the end just losing one player...

    There's a big Ilmater temple in Kuldahar; the entrance is below Oswald's ship. Sister Calliana can Raise Dead/Resurrect characters.
