Importing character from App-store version to Beamdog

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Hi again

Sorry to trouble you all with newbie questions!!

I'm tempted to buy Siege of Dragonspear from Beamdog (so I don't have to wait for it to lauch on the app-store), even though I'll be forced to buy BG1EE again..

But my question is, if I'll be able to import characters from my App-store version into the Beamdog version of BG1EE?
