Mods + 2.0 Dragon Spear Update

So I didn't install dragonspear just yet because I wanted to finish the rest of my BG2 experience with some mods I had installed. Noticed today a completely new overlay (Probably thanks to Steam automaticly Updating) and noticed a lot of mods running in the invalid xxxxxx . I am just going to assume everything is screwed and will be ready to install the new expansion momentarily under a fresh install.

However, I was curious as to if mods will work still? Do things just need to be reinstalled with a fresh new install due to the new update features? That is mostly my big question.

    mods will have to be reinstalled to straighten out the text references. Any save games you had are likely hosed as well.
