Are Android 1.4 games compatible with 2.0 PC games? I know... this sounds like a rhetorical question.
I fear my set up where I can play the same game on both my PC and my mobile units has been messed up by me patching the PC version just now.
Can I reload version 1.4?

EDIT: YES, 2.0 saves CAN be used in 1.3 games.
Have just transferred a 2.0 save to my Android phone on version 1.3 and it works just fine.

on steam you can (in the beta section).
on beamdog, gog and standalone setup, you unfortunately can't ...

before trying stuff, backing up the saves may be a good idea for the things you do.
what's sure is that 2.0 converted saves won't load in android 1.3 games (1.4 you mention is IWD only)

    As Blackadder says:
"I think the phrase we're looking for rhymes with 'clucking bell'".
Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

i have windows and android versions, but i never got into that same-game-on-both-platforms thing.
i tend to mod my windows installs with SCS and the like, as the interface is better there and i have experience back into 1998, i can take the extra challenge, while the same on a tablet interface with limited group control is just too fiddly and tedious.

may be possible again though when 2.0 arrives on android too ...

I've dropped several cool must-have-mods since I need to edit the .obb files on Android (and I'm not that tech savvy) in order to be able to make changes to dialog.tlk (which most WeiDU mods do). So instead I decided upon making my own override-only mods, and updated both Android and PC override folders with the same files. Then I used manual transfer via Google Disk to be able to continue on my tablet when I couldn't (or wouldn't) use the PC.
    This has worked perfectly.

So once Android also gets 2.0 the save games can be exchanged? Does this work via the cloud or do I haver to copy and overwrite them manually?

If you use Steam then cloud saves should be working automagically. If not, you'll have to transfer them manually using Google Disk, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive or what have you.
