SoD Multiplayer import save missing items and characters

I have a multiplayer Final-Save that me and a friend were going to continue, but when we import that game my character is naked and his character has it's inventory. Also the rest of our party doesn't load either so we have to create/import custom characters who are also naked.

If I start a singleplayer game and import the same save the whole party shows up as intended with weapons and gear.
