Create a "roleplay" NPC for single player, Create Party option (just for fun).

While it was always possible to create your own party in "multiplayer," I thought that the new option to create your own party in single player mode to be a nice touch. The purpose of this thread is to focus on ideas for "roleplay" NPC builds to accompany Charname and that could fit in with the other NPCs (so stats of 18/18/18/3/3/3 are out). Maybe we can use each others' NPCs during a Create Party run.
I'll start with a cleric:
Lothar
Priest of Lathander
LG Human Male
Attributes: 15 STR / 10 DEX / 16 CON / 13 INT / 17 WIS / 14 CHA
Proficiencies: Mace * / Sword and Shield Style *
Starting Equipment: Mace, Medium Shield, Splint Mail
If he were an NPC:
Starting Location: Temple of Lathander
Associated Quest: Bassilus
Let's see yours!

Barbarian
CG Human Male
Attributes: 16 STR / 16 DEX / 18 CON / 12 INT / 10 WIS / 8 CHA
Proficiencies: Longbow ** / Axe **
Starting Equipment: Battle Axe, Longbow, 40 Arrows, Hide Armor
Starting Location: Area 3700, South of High Hedge (I'm very much undecided on this one: it seems appropriate for it to be one of the wilderness locations, but not so far out of the way of the main roads as to be obscure.)
Associated quest: Unsure; perhaps you could find him being harassed by the trio of hobgoblin bandits you find in the area.
Probably not the most inspired of possibilities here, but this guy would do a few things that I feel are a bit different from some other pure fighter-type BG NPCs, particularly on the good side. Kivan, Minsc, and Ajantis all have higher strength than constitution, especially in Kivan's case. Turning that around feels refreshing to me, giving the hypothetical player some real hit points to rely on at low levels to prevent the unfortunate one shot by wolves and the like. He's a good archer, always handy in BG1, but his fairly modest dexterity and legal pip distribution should prevent him from being any more overpowering than other fighters in that regard. His mental statistics are realistic and in fact I feel that a little extra intelligence is fitting for someone skilled in surviving in the wild while remaining fit and healthy. His charisma is just low enough to have a penalty, as one might expect from his background. Coming up with a reason for a barbarian to be wandering through the Sword Coast alone could be a problem, but it's a class that's not currently represented and I would want to draw upon those possibilities.
In case you wonder about it, these stats use only a roll of 80, which took me only a few tries to obtain in natural character creation, so hopefully it doesn't look like too much. I could see his strength being lower for more dexterity or wisdom, or even without further modifications; not every barbarian needs to be a hulking behemoth, and it would further differentiate him from other fighter NPCs that hit hard in melee with their greater muscle but are less impressive at taking the same punishment. 15 strength would still be significantly more than your average traveler.
