Cannot complete level up - HLA

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
It seems that (after removing the XP cap), I cannot level up past a certain point when HLA's are rewarded. I have the HLA mod in place and worked great up till SoD was installed.

It does not take me to any abilities page, just the proficiency/thieving skills page, and the "done" button is forever grayed out.

    I assume this is for SoD you are asking about?

    This sounds like modded content. Please know we've had an exceptional amount of issues with mods, particularly with regards to Steam versions of the game...but not limited to that. At this point we are recommending playing without installed mods while the modding community updates their mods and the modding development community digs in to the tooling surrounding making and running mods for the BG:EE Games.
