SoD and BGEE crash at start - both games unplayable.

This has been the problem since I first downloaded SoD in a very long and scrappy process that took several hours.

Consequently I decided to completely uninstall both games and everything related to them. I then re-downloaded SoD and the download was very quick this time (measured in minutes rather than hours) so I had great hopes that the games would now run OK, but they don't - both games crash at either character creation or character import and so are completely unplayable.

The feedback I get is:

    Saw your post in the collectors ship date thread. Are you running the games using an intel integrated graphics card?

    @elminster It's a Radeon graphics card which I have confirmed that it's updated and does support opengl (all as per the advice in the "Game crash, right at the beginning" thread).
