in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Does the XP cap not increase for BGEE? I put a game on hold in Durlags tower in the hopes of utilizing all that XP....

    No the cap is the same. When you transition to Siege of Dragonspear it increases. The BG:EE XP uncapper has been updated to work with SoD now see here, so that might be worth using you could change the cap in BG:EE to be 500,000 if you want to.
