No, only the main character is imported into BG2, same as ever.

This would be a natural thing to change in the future, although I haven't heard any of the devs say they're looking at it.

Considering there is nothing in SoD that changes your stats AND you still lose your items I really don't see why you'd want to import your character from SoD into BGII. I assume if the SoD NPCs are added in it won't matter what you did in SoD, just like it doesn't matter what you did in BGI when you re-acquire the same NPCs in SoD. As people have pointed out, if you killed Imoen in BG1 she still appears in SoD and is totally fine with you lol
The only reason you want to import characters from BGI is because of the stat increases and the items (however, if you start over in SoD you start with some pretty sweet gear)

For the benefits you get of starting in BG1 going to SoD, rather than just starting in SoA:

    1. Tomes - 1 Str, 1 Dex, 1 Con, 1 Int, 3 Wis, 1 Cha
    2. Original Imports - Helm of Balduran and Mail of the Dead the best from the list
    3. New Imports from SoD - Helm of Dumathorin and Archer's Eyes are fanatastic (+1 Dex and +1 Con at least)
    4. Drizzt encounter - Changes can occur to the encounter with him, it's kinda obvious

The main reason why you'd want to import your entire party into BG2 is if your BG1/SoD choices made some of the joinable NPCs stronger than they could otherwise be. If you used a tome to let an otherwise weak character dual-class, for example by giving Safana the INT tome and having her dual to mage, it would be nice to keep her that way in BG2 rather than having your sacrifice of an INT tome undone (which is effectively what happens if you can only import CHARNAME).
