Baeloth & Viconia

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I was surprised to see there was no interaction at all between Baeloth & Viconia.
They were both in my party.
Viconia bantered with Edwin, but not with fellow drow at all. Is this a bug or a design decision?

    I had a minor banter with them during my first playthrough. (Seemed to trigger randomly.) No screenshot, but I wrote it down because I have an interest in the Drow language.

    Baeloth: Ulu z'hin maglust dal Qu'ellar lueth Valsharess zhah ulu z'hin wund lil phalar?
    Viconia: We work together at their side now. Xun izil dos phuul quarthen, lueth dro.
