Playing a Sorcerer class: where is a scroll of find familiar?

Hello friends,
So, I've searched around to see if someone asked this, but for how I searched I couldn't find that anyone had asked this. I'm playing a sorcerer, and have decided because of the new expansion that I'll play a sorcerer.
I don't want to waste choosing a spell on my next level up for something like "find familiar", so does anyone know where a scroll is?
I've searched Beregost and High Hedge and Nashkel.

also for Sorcerer in general you are at the Dilemma that Some Spells are AWESOME at early levels but lose efficiency or get replaced by better spells... Like Armor/Shield gets replaced by the Ghost Armor lvl3 and finally Spirit Armor (lvl 4)
so you have to really think how much Use you get out of that Spell. and if there is a Better one.
Shield continues being useful because it protects against Magic Missile.
@Icecreamtub that's exactly the problem.. you now have Shield , 4AC (2 against Missiles) for 5 Minutes.
which is a Great Level 1 Spell , but Spirit Armor with 1AC lasts 10 Minutes.
you eater take both and have the first wasted , take only the second and have problems early on , or take only the first and miss out later..
and that's just the example of armor there are quite a few other Spells.
the Sorcerer is so handicapt in that regard , but hey he gets all them Spells he want without restrictions..
*gets back to swashbuckler/mageing and is totally not Bias*
None of what you just said made any sense to me, since I already pointed out the lv.1 is for decent protection for the super early game of BG1 and was pointed out previously by another member to be for Anti-Magic Missiles. Whilst ALL of the shield spells being HUGELY outclassed by Stoneskin entirely.
The only reason Sorcerers would ever fall flat in that regard, is if you didn't pay attention to the spell selection properly and/or haven't been through the game before and thusly are prone to making Fresh-Game related mistakes, which is justified. Otherwise, for this current topic, everything has already been stated very crystal clearly, so I fail to understand why you'd make such points as a refutable comment.
