Need to use console to revive NPC (bug)

Hey people, I recently ran into a bug which prevents me from proceeding the storyline. I'm currently in chapter 9.
Spoiler for mission in chapter 9:
During the mission when a negative energy rock breaks into the fort, everyone is drained one level. Khalid and Neera, who wasn't in my party in the original game were both level 1, and this caused them to instantly die. (atleast thats what I think happened, because the rock bursted in, and it said both of them died, in addition to the three other guys.) Now, neither of them were in my party when they died, so I have no way of ressurecting them at a priest, nor do I know how to use the console. I have tried to look up how to use it, and I have tried modifying the Baldur.ini file aswell, but I can't seem to open the console with Ctrl+Space ingame.
In the mission I'm currently in, it says I have to "Return to Khalid and tell him what I've learned", and this is practically impossible, since he is dead. Most likely turned into a ghast aswell (pun intended)
