Since BG has now become a platform for identity politics I think it’s only fair that Boo has his say. On his behalf I am currently starting a chapter of PETH (people for the ethical treatments of hamsters). For too long hamsters have been oppressed, kept in cages, forced to run on wheels or in balls, and have only been allowed to mate with their own kind. These things need to be clearly addressed in any future Baldur’s Gate games and Boo could be the perfect spokesmen for these issues.

One problem though. Boo uses Minsc as his mouthpiece and we all know the translation from Booish to Minsc to everyone within a 2 mile radius often gets a bit... garbled. :P

That's the thing. If other beloved characters can be transformed to address social inequality there is no reason Minsc cant. For example, we can change one his sayings to, " A den of stinky social oppression" or "Diversity training for Goodness!".

Actually this social oppression is not as smelly as it usually is. We post blogs about you anyway, well-scrubbed social oppression!
