Help: Low Framerate in Dragonspear

Hi, first of all, English is not my native language, so i'll try to explain at the best of my capabilities.

So, as the topic says, during the game, i've been experiencing low framerate. Tried to mess with the graphic options, but still it isn't helping.
Maximum framerate in the LUA is 60, but during the game it varies, going low to approx 15 frame, even 10, maybe, so it's not a great game experience thus far.
I'm not trying to do a negative review, the game (still in the beginning) is great, the storyline has already taken me, just trying to understand how to solve this graphic problem.

Thanks to everyone for any tips on the matter.

It is a bit more demanding on pc systems. Turning down sprite outlines, and highlights, and colorful markers from graphics options should help. It helped me and my pc is very old.
Turn down ai. Choose every character, enter customise, script, and choose none. Every party member has advanced ai as default and it is taxing, as well.

I Think i'm way above the minimal recommendations, the game isn't generally going slow, it do its' in random patterns, or in more demanding battles.

@Aristisval Is there some place in particular where you're having this happen consistently?

Can you provide me with some hardware specs? (CPU Speed, Memory, Graphics Card Model and Manufacturer, Driver, whether you have a Discrete Graphics Card or integrated Graphics, graphics memory, etc.)

    -Intel Core I7 Q740 @1.73ghz
    -8GB ram

    -NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M
    Driver version 364.72
    Dedicated graphic memory 1536MB GDDR5

Edit: By the way, it's not in a particular scene, this slowing of the framerate happened through the whole game.

Have you tried to activate the Alternate Renderer from the Options -> Graphics menu?

I just had FPS drops in dwarf dungeon on the map with fire portal where it would drop under 30 fps and even down to 15 (I used Fraps to see FPS). I switched to alternate renderer to fix it.
But on my PC this game should be flying on any renderer as I got a i5 4690 (on 3.5 ghz) and Nvidia GTX 960.

Do you have the latest generic Nvidia video drivers installed?

Close to latest. But I doubt Nvidia released drivers just for SoD. They do that only for AAA games.
