Cleric/ranger - Can't get Druid spells

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Hey I know that this has been beaten to death but I can't find my specific problem on the forum. I can't get Druid spells in my cleric/rangers spell book. I have the game installed on steam, I have gone into the baldur.ini but mine didn't even have the cleric ranger spells 1 line. I tried adding it and that didn't work. Does anyone know of a mod I can download or if this has been permanently removed with the new patches?

    Quick question what level are you? Druid spells are only given at a certain level. You have all your cleric spells is that correct?

    Off the top of my head I'd ask if you're aware that Rangers don't get Druid spells until about 9th level?

    Try looking for the line in Baldur.lua

    Same problem here. I DO have the cleric ranger spells 1 line. Not my main, I dual xlassed Minsc to a cleric. I thought that maybe the Cleric/Ranger getting access to Druid spells might be a bug no one ever fixed.

    Think it was a bug before right? But maybe you need the ranger part reactivated, like after your cleric class outlevels it by 1. Then you get access to the other side of spells. Unless it was changed. I usually change minsc to a ranger/cler asap by increasing his wis lol.

    Open your Baldur.lua file and look for the line SetPrivateProfileString('Game Options','Cleric Ranger Spells','1') and change de value from 1 to 0

    I believe this must be done before starting the game. Don't know if it works on and already started char.

    I thought I had an original idea for once! Bah!

    Have you really done this and had it work?

    I thought it was the other way around. I've played a half-dozen cl/rgrs before but never converted one in game. I'll try changing the string.

    Edit: Didn't work. Started at 0 and swictched to 1 and vice versa. Restarted game.. all iterations did not work. I'd be more pissed if I wasn't cheating but I'd still like to get it to work

    If you still have a baldur.ini file try removing that before changing the baldur.lua and loading the game again. You may need to reload a previous save or create a new game to see the change.

    You need to change the setting before creating your character. It does not work if you're loading a game.

    The weird thing is that the save below it has a perfectly fine working Cleric/ Ranger.
