Temple of Bhaal with the Wardstone - where is it? (SPOILERS)

TheDeceiverTheDeceiver Member Posts: 12
So I rescued the lieutenant's son, got admitted into the crusader camp, and now I need to find a temple of Bhaal that holds a wardstone. Where should I go? I have no idea, no new areas show up.

East of the bridge is an area called the Forest of Wyrms. There are a few caves you can find there. If you travel through the one on the north-east corner you can eventually make your way (through multiple areas) to the temple.

    Thank you elminster.

However, I've already been there on the previous quest. Now came back - nope, no wardstones there :(

Disregard that, found the area with the mask puzzle.

If you saved the lieutenant's son you should have also gotten a key to a door that you were previously unable to open.

Did you talk to the high priestess of that temple? You would have needed to kill a half dragon, who then had a key for you to get further into the temple. You'd eventually come upon the temples high priestess. She has it.

In the same temple you were. The one where you saved the lieutenant's son, there should be a door right by the mad priest of bhaal's cage, you should have the means to open it now. Just follow through.

The wardstone is eluding me also.

I solved the mask puzzle. I killed the flayer and companions and looted everything in the room. I freed the high priestess of Bhaal and the crusaders. No wardstone.

You went too far in. The battle for the wardstone is against a single person who gets invisible and summons two creatures.
I never found the stone on my own either. I read somewhere that this person has it. I went back and it was lying on the floor.

It took me forever to figure out that the wardstone is a quest.
    1. The guy who gives you the quest never mentions it gain untill you complete it.
    2. It looks like an optional quest, not something needed to progress. I mean why would I want to help the crusade lower the drawbridge? I lead an army against them.
    3. You don't know what the teleportation circle does. You don't know it is connected to the wardstone.
    4. The stone is on some random person in a small room.
    5. This random person gets invisible so you might leave the temple without realizing there's one enemy left.

    Interesting. Thanks for your reply!

Jaheira suggested both the wardstone and the circle. I assumed that was the quest and the only way to get into the fort.
