Summarize the Major Bugs?

I'm gearing up for a total playthrough, usually always give 3 months for polishing before playing a PC game on release, but would like to see the opinions put forward for bugs that prevent normal gaming.

An example would be the difficulty reportedly stuck in story mode or stuck at easy. I might just go off and play POE for the first time and come back in a few months anyway, because to be honest, the controversy and such is is kind of tainting the launch and opinion I have of the game before I've even had a chance to play it - as I haven't even played BG:EE once since its first release.
