What's happened to my reputation??

TwistedAdonisTwistedAdonis Member Posts: 5
Hi all.

I started my first post patch game today with a rep of 20 (goody two shoes), but after playing for quite a while I heard Minsc talking about kicking me in the morals. I checked my rep and it's gone down to 7!
I did kill Zhurlong at some point, but is that really enough to get me -13 rep?
Is it a bug with the new 2.0?
It's really irritating and I can't find anything about it on here. I've just got to the point where I've been told to go to the Cloakwood to look for the other mine.
Is it possible to do something that would lower my rep so drastically?
The thought of playing all those hours again from an old save is soul-destroying. Is there a console solution?

Any help most appreciated.

Edit: Maybe foolishly believed a site that said there was no penalty for killing that stupid dwarf?

Ah. Perhaps you tossed a fireball or some other AOE while inside the tent within the Bandit Camp? There is a neutral NPC standing next to a chest at the back, which will drop your reputation if they're killed during the battle within.

    /Facepalm.

I so did do that. What a fool.

Thanks. I don't feel so annoyed replaying all those hours now that I know it's my own stupid fault.

Donate to a temple to raise your rep up again.

Yea, this game is a very good representation of real life: you killed a bunch of innocents? no problem, just give money to church and we are all good

Even better. Make room for the two drow characters and welcome them to the party. They drop your reputation each one point. Do your donations to the church. After that kick them out. Should bring you to max reputation.

    Reputation is expensive now.
