The recent ridiculousness

I think its ridiculous that people are judging a game, another world, for what characters are saying. Be it a joke, a certain npc or whatever they put in. I just love that they made SoD and the EE versions in the first place.
It's THEIR game. Worse things have been said.
I'm tired of developers taking something out of their game just because it offended someone. A few years ago this would not have been an issue. When I talked to that certain flaming fist enforcer or whatever I didn't really even notice. It adds diversity to the world. And the thing is, is that this is their world that THEY made. If you don't like it, don't play the game.
There's enough of us that love the game that will continue on playing and when they make BG 3, I hope they add whatever the hell they want. I want it to be like another world, filled with whatever is an issue there. If that enforcer wanted to be a three- armed elven orc prostitute named Brittany, all the power to her. If Minsc makes a joke, even a not funny one, im sure someone else out there thinks its funny, I'll get over it. To that guy playing an orc who thinks he's being discriminated in game because hes an orc?.....Seriously, dude you picked an orc. Is this your first rpg?
IF I find something offensive a character might say, I'll roll my eyes call them a d-bag and not allow them in my party. And I'll congrats the developers for making a perfect in game d-bag. To the people complaining about your game you put hard work into? I say eff em. There's plenty of us that enjoy it and don't need it changed. Except for some of the bugs.... you can still work on that.
