Apple holding my games hostage, hamster heroes needed!

Maybe I'm imagining things, maybe I'm looking into things wrongly, but it seems like Apple's app stores for both the macbook and the iPhone are conspiring against me! I have BG1 on my phone, BG2 on my computer, and a special game to me called Last Heir 2 and I haven't seen heads nor tails of an update other systems are getting! No matter what others say about the new changes being bad at least I want to experience them for myself and maybe even get siege of dragonspear on my phone... Sigh... I am in need of intrepid hamsters to infiltrate Cupertino and retrieve my updates held most likely over a pit of lava breathing acid sharks with laser beams!

My understanding from previous patches is that app store approval usually takes 7-10 working days - assuming there are no problems. Previous patches have been held up by Apple's criteria for accepting an app as well.

This was less of an issue in the days before electronic release became routine, and you would factor a lead time for pressing physical media into your launch window - now, it looks like we are coding pretty much up to the point of hitting the 'release' button, just to make everything that little bit better. Naturally, that adds a 2-week lag on most apps/patches hitting the Mac. On the bright side, we are usually aware of most issues by the time it finally arrives. On the down side, [spoilers].

As long as this does not take the 1.25 years it took to get the 1.2 patch (ultimately skipped till 1.3) I will be happy ;) However, I imagine Beamdog may have their hands full of other issues at the moment, and understand if responding to app store feedback is not their top priority for a few days.
