Buy from Beamdog or GOG

This is more of a technical question to avoid a future problem. I bought Baldur's Gate EE directly from Beamdog. If I purchase Siege of Dragonspear and Baldur's Gate 2:EE from GOG can import my save from the Baldur's Gate EE from Beamdog? I'd hate to buy them from GOG only to find out that I can't import my Baldur's Gate save.

    That's a good question. I may be able to find out for you sometime this week, as I own all 4 games from both Beamdog and GOG.

    Saves are platform independent, no problem there, it will just work.

    The problem is that you can't buy SoD from GOG if you don't own BG:EE on GOG. That being said, if you own the vanilla version on GOG, BG:EE is dirt cheap right now.
