Horror and Bears in Larswood

The bears in the north-east corner of Larswood get scared from Horror spell (they have the graphics effects), yet they still follow my part members around and attack them.

    They are scripted to do so. Anyone coming within 7 units of them while their allegiance is "neutral" will cause them to become hostile. Hit them with a little fire and they'll run away, though.

    Incidentally, Larswood is a long way from Icewind Dale. No worries, though.

    With the bears though - if they have "fear" how can they still target and attack? Seem inconsistent with the effect...

    Maybe they're just ferocious, fearless bears.

    When faced with fear, all animals exhibit the fight or flight response.

    Hence, these bears choose to fight. Lol

    I've noticed this with a few other creatures too. They turn yellow but still attack. Is this consistent with earlier versions of the game?
