"BGEE Pre-order" badge vs. "BGEE Supporter" ?

I've just found out that there are two Pre-order badges, this:http://forum.baldursgate.com/badge/bgee-pre-order with only 21 random people having it, and the well known http://forum.baldursgate.com/badge/bgee-supporter with 2619, any idea what's the difference? I like the bronze one more :P.

    i noticed that the other day when Nathan had both the pre-order and supporter badge. He seemed to be the first one to have it iirc.

    From the dates on those pages, it looks like any new pre-orderers will be getting the bronze badge, which is worth 49 points instead of 50. The difference in name, description, and point value suggests that Overhaul wants to separate those who pre-ordered early as a show of support from those who are only pre-ordering now.

    I wonder if this has anything to do with the extra thing Trent Oster promised in his release delay announcement. It was unclear to many whether all pre-orderers would get it or only those who purchased before a certain date.

    Yup @Nahtan 's profile was the way I found out about it as well, now he knows he's being spied on lol. I guess he pre-ordered both before and after 19-20th of September..

    So when I buy a copy for my friend closer to Nov 30th I'll get another badge?

    Yes, this is a clever ploy to get supporters to pre-order again for the second badge.

    Where do I pre-order again to get the bronze badge as well? :) (and further support overhaul of course)

    Wait, are you saying that the ones that preordered before the 18th of September only got a SILVER badge? D:

    Pffft, we are pure gold, not silver! In fact, I'll go ahead and call the second badge gold, while ours is Platinum D:
