Barbarian of the Black Pits

Hello, kind people of the forums!
As I played the Black Pits earlier today, with my party including a Barbarian, I came across a rather unfortunate occurrence. When I'd activate Barbarian Rage and end up with less than 15 health when the match is won, Baeloth would teleport the party out of the ring, but my Barbarian would die in between being teleported and reappearing in the shop area. (I know because the bar at the bottom said "Orla - Death".) This caused my Barbarian to drop all of her items in the ring, with no chance of getting them back.
Is this supposed to happen? I tried searching the forums for others who may have had the issue, but found nothing. And should I have submitted some sort of ticket rather than making a Topic about this? I am very unfamiliar with all this. Many thanks to any help!
EDIT: I found the equipment lying in the corner of the ring, so it's not as much of an issue as I thought. Sorry to have opened a Discussion for this triviality.
