BGEE troubles

For the past few days, I've been having problems with my game. The first problem was that I couldn't save the game with the regular save button, I was only able to use the quick save button. I was able to fix it after uninstalling the game with all files, but I have just run into this problem again about 20 minutes ago. The second problem is that I could not travel to locations that were not previously on the map before. For example, I would try to travel to the Red Canyons, but there would be no purple icon to click on. I request swift aid.
