Viconia: Deaf? Truly? In the Underdark the deaf are killed or used in pain threshold experiments.
Jan: I heard that! In fact, it reminds me of the time I was eaten by an avatar of Lolth. I was stuck inside her stomach with a miserable drow called Biffle Chump for days. Of course, I was forced to eat him. A matter of survival, you understand. Nothing personal. He tasted a bit like chicken.
Viconia: How is it that you travel with such a wee buffoon?
Marius: Truthfully, it all goes back to the time that Jan's cousin, Plooty Paladin-piper, got caught in a nasty flesh golem eating contest...

My favourite dialogue (to date) comes from the Icewind Dale NPCs mod, during the final portion of the game.

When you're transported back to Easthaven before confronting Belhifet, there's a great banter if you enter the Winter's Cradle Tavern, where your companions first introduced themselves to you. One of your followers suggests that they all reintroduce themselves to the party, to see how their experiences and adventures throughout the game have changed them. It was surprisingly touching to see Korin's newfound humility, Neera's broadened horizons, Holvir's unbroken resolve, and the love between Severn and Teri. When it was my character's turn to introduce herself again, there were chills up my spine; I realised that she wasn't the same woman she was at the start of the game at all.

The mod really had character development in mind, and I can't thank @Kulyok enough for making it. For me, it made the game perfect. Are you going to pay me now, @Kulyok?
