In her current form she's not a demilich, "just" a level 30-something Mage with a millenium of experience under her belt. She's not supposed to have demilich traits, and IIRC she's vulnerable to true death in a manner a demilich wouldn't be. From a gameplay point of view, she's not a demilich, or even undead.
Powerful liches/demiliches are known to possess or even move from one undead body to another simply because they felt like it. It's not the physical form that makes the lich/demilich (that's pretty much the point of becoming one).
Shoon VII's case is unique because unpredictable magic has resulted with him (his soul? essence? whatever) getting transferred into the body of a living, elven woman. Regardless, his demilich traits should remain intact.
From a lore perspective, what exactly is the difference between a lich and demilich? How does a lich become one? What makes them so much more dangerous than a regular lich?
Thanks for pointing this character out, @Nuin. I've been playing this game for far too long, but never came accross her. I wonder which other 'hidden' surprises I missed... Something to look forward to on a new run, interesting!
