[Spoilers] Do we ever actually learn about Ashatiel?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
What is her deal? Is she Avariel like Aerie? she mentions what 'happened' to her brother, and I can't find any reference to it. Anyone know any better?

    She looks like a solar, so her brother would need to be part divine...maybe sarevok?

    Hm, I dunno about her being a Bhaalspawn. If that were the case they'd just use her blood. I thought she was a solar too, at first, but solars are big and glowy. She is definitely an elf with wings.

    I figured she was a half-celestial like Kaelyn the dove in MotB.

    I thought she was an avariel bhaalspawn. I added her to the group by Ctrl + Q and she was an elven Fighter/Mage/Cleric. I didn't notice if she has bhaalspawn abilities. In retrospect, she's probably not one. Just a normal avariel.

    Ashatiel was a winged elf whose brother Arran was murdered by Sarevok. She joined the crusade to seek revenge. She hates all Bhaalspawn!
