I got the Dragonscales but never found a use for them

From killing that Green Dragon. What are they supposed to do?

    speak to the Smith in Bridgefort. He will offer you a few choices (tip: the armor is underwhelming)

    There is no smith in Bridgefort. Is this only available during "that" section of the game?

    There is one inside the compound, where you first meet Khalid
    .

    Just to be clear: you are inside the main bridgefort defenders area where the wardstone first takes you (not in the ramparts above/outside)? There are a lot of filler NPCs there, so make sure to use tab and interact with each of the named ones. The smith is a dwarf, I believe.

    Also, you haven't gone through with attacking/surrendering to the Crusaders yet, right?

    [Spoiler]The Smith can be found on the west side of the coalition camp too. It's the dwarf called Jegg. [/spoiler]

    ON topic of Jegg...anyone found use for Basilisk Claw? Thought it was meant for Jegg, but that wasn't the case,
