[SPOILERS] Keyhole in Last Area of the Game

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Hey everybody. In the last area of the game, the sewers beneath baldur's gate if you go east instead of west, after fighting of some oozes and carrion crawlers, you can find a section of wall that looks like a container if you hold the tab key. When you click on it, it's locked and you get a message that the stone has a keyhole or something like that. As far as I know there isn't a key in the area and if you proceed out the western exit the endgame sequence begins. Does anybody know what this thing does?

    The key is on a body in the upper sewer area before you jump down the waterfall.

    I am happy to report that the container does not contain anything of consequence friend. Very strange though.

    I hit it with a sword, bugger all worth having in it.

    It's just some potions. Not exactly useful.
