Multiplayer Pausing causing unplayability

Every time the game is paused all players bah the host seem to get stuck in the pause and can't un-pause themselves or be un-paused by the host even with permissions turned on. We have been playing on a local network. Has this problem been happening to others? Is there a way to fix it?

    The same thing is happening to us with BGEE. Started after the update. Also players joining get a message about joining game will take a moment that never ends. Pressing escape 20-30 times brings you back to the join game screen and they can get in. The update ruined our game half way through.

    Is this really still going on? Me and a friend bought BG:EE back when 2.0 first dropped thinking it was as good a time as any to enjoy some BG coop fun. This pausing issue has basically made multiplayer pointless as the non-host player spends more time stuck in a buggy half-paused state than in actual gameplay.

    How did something like this not get caught in testing before the patch was pushed out?

    And more importantly, how is a bug that this severely cripples one of the main features of BG:EE still around over a week after the patch went live?

    Was this issue resolved in the patch released on the 14th? Anyone know?
