Skie and Marshal Nederlock (spoilers?)

Hi there, is there any way to find Nederlok to turn in the "find Skie" quest after he leaves for the parley with Caelor and friends? I rescued her after doing a ton of other things first, but now he's gone from the camp.

Or, failing that, does not turning it in (it just ends up as "finished" at the "report back to Nederlok" stage) affect anything later?

No and No (at least as far as I saw). I ran into the same thing, I didn't know I could go to Dragonspear castle at first since you have to go to the caves to get there (didn't make it sound like you could just waltz right through the front gate) so I only noticed after I did all the other stuff (thought, hey, why is the castle colored like it's able to be travelled to?").

Ended up doing the exactly same thing. Got to dragonspear castle after the parley for the first time. Then realized I could have probably paid a visit earlier when in the large battle I was finding pieces for the fence.

I also ended up in the identical situation, and none of my saves are anywhere near that point in the game -_-

Waltzing into the castle camp by deadpanning the truth was one of my favorite game moments so far. (Was role playing a Paladin, and while I'm not locked into the can't tell a lie for whatever reason role, that was still great fun. "Do you know you share a name with the hero of Buldur's Gate?" "I am aware.")
