Can't finish starting dungeon

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I should have listened to my instincts and waited till' the game got patched.

I can't progress the game, I ask Imoen to leave the dungeon, and the screen just becomes unusable. Game keeps going, but I can't do anything. What to do?

    Well, how far along did you get in the first dungeon?


    Did you kill Korlasz or force her to surrender?
    Did you go through all the areas in both levels?
    Did you solve the various puzzles, including the colored torches?


    Some of the problems seemed to have been resolved with a reload/retry, that happened to me with a later quest, last guy wouldn't acknowledge me but did after reload/retry.

    I solved everything, and went to all areas.

    Killed Korlasz because UNLIMITED POWAAAR!

    ...So you suggest I start over?

    No, just save where you are, quit, then reload the saved game and then talk to Imoen again. I know it is silly but it does seem to have worked to resolve several similar situations in SOD. Alliteration completely unintended. :)
