Biographies not importing from prior game?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear

When I import my BG:EE game into SoD, the biographies don't import with them.

For my charname, the BG:EE credits appear in place of the bio:




And for the other NPCs, random expressions/statements appear instead:




I haven't come across others discussing this - is it a known bug?

    The biographies show up for CHARNAME, Minsc, Dynaheir, Khalid, Jaheira, and Safana in this imported group for me. Let me try the evil party in a bit and see.... Bios show up for CHARNAME, Kagain, Shar-Teel, Viconia, Edwin, and Dorn.

    Are you using any mods? That kinda looks like text strings are being displaced.
