    Mainly Castle.

And currently going through Eureka, which I also find to be great.

....Also currently watching a bit of Babylon5, a classic.

Babylon 5 Rules! Londo Mollari is the best!

Hardly ever watch TV anymore because all the 'reality' shows and re-runs of everything just burnt out my desire to watch anything.

I just did a marathon of Game of Thrones (season 1 & 2), great show. Can't wait for season three. It probably helps that I've never read the books, so its all new to me.

Yeah, I did the same and didn't expect that I would like it considering how cheesy live action fantasy depictions tends to end up being. It was a rather pleasant surprise and I can hardly wait until April 2013.

The Walking Dead / Game of Thrones / Lost.. TV shows make me crazy first then become lazy later....

Finished The Wire again :( watched the extremely sparse commentaries, there was only one that featured actors from the series (McNulty and Omar) which was absolutely hilarious, all the others were writers, producers.

Now trawling through some let's plays. Just found a good one for the Thief trilogy, great voice for these games.

Falling Skies - I like this one. It's the only show I watch, actually; not big on TV or movies.

I watch some of the shows you all have mentioned, but a few that haven't gotten any love so far: Burn Notice, Warehouse 13, and Once Upon a Time. Oh, and Phineas and Ferb.

I'm from Finland. I don't watch shows from Telly (I don't even own one), but I do watch them Online instead..

My top ten of series, in no specific order would be:
    Game of Thrones
    Sons of Anarchy
    Dexter
    Doctor Who
    Generation Kill
    Survivorman
    Flashpoint
    Justified
    The Guild
    The Walking Dead

Now, most of these shows are not being produced or aired anymore, but as we all know, Game of Thrones will pick up for a third season. While more Dexter is being pushed out, along with Sons of Anarchy, Doctor Who and Flashpoint. I really hope there will be more of Survivorman!

So, i'm good with all this.

EDIT: I must say that I enjoyed watching "To catch a predator" from youtube for six or seven hours total in two days, just for the laughs and how creepy this world is..

You might wanna give the 1997 anime Berserk a watch if you want a good fantasy series (although, it's rather bloody but the story makes up for it).

If you guys are talking about anime and fantasy... Record of Lodoss War is a must. It's very DnD-like, and I remember loving it a lot when I first watched it.

I liked The Slayers and Louie the Rune Soldier. The Slayers is only funny in Japanese, though. The English dub is unforgivably bad.

Not seeing any love for FireFly :(

    Ended too soon - Shame

"Heroes" had one of the best first seasons ever... then season 2 was "ok" and after that, it TANKED. Such a bummer... Was fantastic at the start. Became lame.

Not seeing any love for FireFly :(

Uh, can't believe I forgot to mention this. That is probably my most favourite one of them all.
And it's precilessly Nathan Fillion who got me hooked on Castle!

For some reason I don't have much love for wild west themes so I never got around to watch it.
  • GilgalahadGilgalahad Member Posts: 237
Add me to the Firefly list. R.I.P. much too soon. I didn't have it on my list as it's been gone so long it slipped my mind. Yet all that crap they call reality shows keep going and going. I question the mindset of the overall population on that.
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
@Arkynomicon - it's far more than the wild west. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched. I keep holding out hope for a 10 years later revisit on cable or whatnot. It really is fantastic.

And another thing. I can kill you with my brain - River Tam

For dramas, the wife and I are enjoying Parenthood and the Good Wife. Both are mostly well written.

I was totally taken off guard by the Walking Dead. I had never read any of the comics, so I was surprised that it was written as a character study, which is what I usually enjoy the most. That show is absolutely terrific!

My daughters and I have a guilty pleasure in Falling Skies. We are also working through all of the Star Trek series, Dr Who, and the newest Battlestar Galactica (IMO one of the best scifi series ever)

They are going to be the coolest girlfriends ever since they are already scifi nerds:)

I haven't had a TV for the past couple years, but I still watch shows regularly on Netflix.

    Some of my favorites are:

    1.) Nikita
    2.) City Hunter
    3.) Stargate: Atlantis
4.) Legend of the Seeker (but the books are much better)
    5.) 49 Days

@j3cwill have you seen 28 Days Later? I enjoyed Walking Dead but I felt that the film had more depth despite being significantly shorter than the series.
